How to Find Out What Missed Calls Are Costing Your Business

Most small businesses know they miss calls. Fewer know what those missed calls are worth.

From there, estimate conversion value. How many missed new-lead calls would likely have become customers? What is a typical customer worth? What is a booked appointment worth?

Even rough math is better than no math. It turns a vague phone problem into a business decision.

The handoff is often where the real issue appears. What happens when a call is missed? Is there voicemail? Who checks it? How fast does someone respond? Is the message complete? Does it land in a CRM or calendar?

The right fix might be call tracking, better voicemail, scripted intake, automated summaries, appointment booking, an answering service, or an AI receptionist. The call types should decide the solution.
